David Reitze is the Executive Director of the LIGO Laboratory at Caltech and a Professor of Physics at the University of Florida. He is a member of the international LIGO Scientific Collaboration. His research program focuses broadly on gravitational-wave astronomy and on the development and operation of future gravitational-wave detectors.
